About QBiOSS...
QBiOSS is designed to help Miva Merchant store ownersimport sales into Quickbooks. It is a two part system, comprised
of a Windows based application "QBiOSS" and a Miva Merchant
Utility plug-in module (qbi_remote). This solution allows you to have
a great deal of control over how orders are imported into Quickbooks.
One of the best features of QBiOSS is that it lets you setup
Quickbooks the way you want. All products must already be
setup in Quickbooks, allowing you the flexibility to configure
each of your products the way you want. You can then assign
them to various income and expense accounts, enabling you
to track your sales and expenses any way you like.
QBiOSS allows Quickbooks to handle Tax the way you
configure it. Each item's tax code is set on the Sales Receipts
or Invoices the way you have them configured in Quickbooks.
Simply setup your products, coupons, attributes, etc... in your
Miva Merchant store the same as you have them setup in
Quickbooks, and everything works out perfect!
With each order that's imported, you can also set the Deposit
Account (for Sales Receipts) and/or the Accounts Receivable
Account (for Invoices) based on the Payment Method used
by the customer.
You can setup separate Quickbooks items for each Shipping
Method you offer, then set these when importing sales based
on the customer selected Shipping Method... allowing you to
track income/expense for each of your Shipping Methods.
Also, you have the ability to use any combination of
Sales Receipts, Invoices and Estimates! You can have QBiOSS
send certain sales to Quickbooks as Invoices or Estimates based on
the sale's Payment Method. Then, all other sales are imported as Sales Receipts.
This allows you to process orders using real-time payment methods using Receipts,
then invoice customers paying for items purchased "on account" or by P.O.
Even use this feature for Check or Money Order payments...
allowing you to easily see Open Balances for customers in Quickbooks.
QBiOSS will even connect directly to your store and retrieve your batches.
And there are built-in Plug-Ins providing additional functionality.
QBiOSS truly gives you practically every option available to you
to allow you to configure Quickbooks and import your orders
